![]() I picked up this 71 a few months ago, and have started a full restoration. It appears to have been repainted at least three times. The car was originally Metallic Gold. I'm going to try and get it to as close to how it was born, and will be shooting for a number 2+ car. It is currently at the media blaster, then off for metal work, and body/paint. Over the past couple days, I kept plugging away at putting the car back together.
Installed some sound deadening. ![]() ![]() Found one of the holes for the screws that hold the CPS mount was enlarged, so I decided to install some 6 x 100 nut rivets. ![]() I also made a custom fuel filter mount and followed some advise from Rob-O, and painted the areas around the vents. ![]() ![]() My brakes from PMB should be here in a couple days. I hope to have the car back on the ground next week.! |
