so..in the distant future....i will be rebuilding my 71, 1.7 engine, if all goes as planned i will send it to jake, but what can be done to a 1.7, is it as easy to modify as a 2.0?

should i just get a 2.0 block and send that instead......any ideas/suggestions

im looking for about 150 hp and 150 torque, if possible, nothing crazy, i want to keep it as stock as possible in the sense that i want a t-4 that isnt way much higer than 2.0L

you can turn your 1.7 block into a 2.0, but you need the 2.0 crank and rods..........150hp?? must be nice to have $5000 (minimum) to spend on a motor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
