Yes! It's official now! I've bought the car. Earlier this morning the seller and I agreed on the price etc. I'll be picking it up next Wednesday.
I will move the car to a friend's classic car workshop (10 mls to the NE) and start working there: - drop the engine - start cleaning all engine parts - replacing the pushrod tubes and seals - cleaning the engine bay - taking off the tins for powder coating ( I can blast them myself) - taking car of the spaghetti under the bonnet: new hoses etc. - new tyres (just the original 165/15s - this time from Vredestein @52 euros a piece) From there I will start cleaning everything under the bonnet etc. The interior looks better irl than on the pics. Has to do with the flash of the camera. However... I know it's a totally original car, but I have my eyes set on the grey tartan seat covers. Menno A few pics! Thanks for posting. Interesting to see the steering wheel has Wolfburg instead of Porsche crest. (I know they were sold in VW dealerships in Europe.) Plus your Flasher and Fog buttons are different than US 914's.
