If we have already upgraded to 911 adjusters on our rocker arms would this tool work on our 4 cylinders?

I have this tool, used it on my 930 rebuild (engine out) I found that it seemed to work ok, a third hand would be best. If using feeler gauges it seemed spot on. When I measured with a dial gauge, all measured fat. I ended up setting with the dial gauge on each one. Nice having everything exact...
