Hi all,
Just a quick hypothetical... If I managed to get a hold of 2.5L subie motor from an automatic, would that motor work with a manual subie gear box? -Josh |

Hi Josh,
There should be no problems swapping automatic for manual trans. The only thing (not sure) you might need a difference engine ecu for manual trans especially if the engine and trans ecu is one complete unit. There are after market ecu's out there that will work with a plus side to it too. After market like "Stinger", can be dialed in for your car specifications and needs. Good luck Al |
