Hi all,
Just a quick hypothetical... If I managed to get a hold of 2.5L subie motor from an automatic, would that motor work with a manual subie gear box? -Josh |

You can use the OEM ECU. You'll need to ground 1-2 wires to raise the idle speed. You will need to wire 2 of the 4 wire's coming off the VSS sender on the tranny back to the ECU.
