Right. A few trips later with the 914, all is still perfect. And that gives me chance to consider a few things.
I live in a woodland area and it's wise to use DRLs (Daylight Running Lights) when one's driving through the woods. Modern cars have the LEDs and, my other classics have 'build-in' headlights. But I need to turn up the headlight on the Teener when I want others to see me. And honestly, I think it spoils the lines of the car... How do you solve this? Menno |

Menno I wired my fog lights so that they are run by the headlight relay that is not active unless the ignition is on. The switch no longer requires the headlights to be on. So the outcome is I never turn off the fog lights and they come on every time I start the car. Also if it is grey I run the parking lights as well. I have to remember to shut those off when I stop the car and am considering changing them in some way so I do not forget. Usually it is just the front fogs. I don't like having the headlight buckets open driving in daytime. |
