Hi all,
Just a quick hypothetical... If I managed to get a hold of 2.5L subie motor from an automatic, would that motor work with a manual subie gear box? -Josh |

And, of course, you'd need new head gaskets every few years... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) --DD Well, the reason I ask is that it's possible my daily driver Subaru may be totaled from hail damage, and I JUST shelled out a bunch of money on a head gasket job less than two months ago... Maybe take the total if I can get a replacement, then I've got a scooby motor for the teener??? -Josh |

If you were going to use the 901 I have the conversion stuff for that in the classifieds. I would go for the suby tranny though if choosing between the 2. The 901 will certainly work & is a good cheap temporary solution. Once you drove one with a suby trans you wouldn't want o go back though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) |
