A friend of mine has, hidden in his stuff, the stock "butterfly" steering wheel that came on his 912E. He hates it, it's never been used and I think it will be free for me.
Will it easily fit on my 1972 914? Or are they different in some way? Thanks Sean |

I think the splines on the steering shaft may be different. I'm pretty sure they're different between the 911 and the 914...
