[size=7] Hi everyone, I have a '74 2.0 914 that I am putting back together. Please help! Has anyone had to move the driver seat closer then in the original factory position. I need to get the seat closer so my wife can drive the car and I am not sure how to do it. There is a cross peice of the floor pan that is right up against the seat frame. Any and all Ideas would be greatly appreciated...... Mnay thanks, Jo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) hn |

I adjusted the pedals out a bit farther, give that a try before you do anything else, they are designed to do that.

Ian Stott Moncton Canada Hi Ian, I didn't know the pedals were adjustable..where are the adjustments for the pedals located. I just looked under the seat again and I am pretty sure the seat is up all the way. Howevere Maybe tomorrow I can pull the seat out and take a look. I have had several 911's and never with getting the seat up close enough .. this is my first 914. It should be on the road in the next couple of weeks.. I will start working on the interior soon.. New carpet etc. install a radio lube everything.. thanks for your help John G |

I was surprised at what a difference it made, my daughter is 5 foot 1 and she can drive it no problem. Ian |
