This is my Dad's car. Once I sell my AX car (shameless plug for selling my gray car - see the classifieds) - I can start on this one. How long does a part time restoration take? Any estimate on time?

Finances and available time on your part will dictate how long it will take. If you can afford to send it out to a real 914 restoration specialist I would imagine 4-6 months maybe longer. I know that even engine builders (i mean really good engine builders can take as long as 2 - 4 months. I think for the do it yourselfer, if you have the funding should take at least a year, even 2 to do it right if you are good. IMHO (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
