Looks pretty crusty (not Krusty...then it would be AWESOME) but intact.
Signal Orange Sixer No interest at all, just pointing it out. |

Paul ! Guys thanks for the warm welcome !
I feel okay about the purchase. Would have liked to have paid less but at least I got a car that is pretty clean. Other than a couple of wrinkles on the passenger side door and some rust on the back edge of the rear deck lid the body is real straight, no accidents and original paint , though very faded. Battery tray has a little surface rust in spots but solid. I like cars no one has ever seen before. My yellow #84 935 is like that. I think I am the fourth owner and between me and the previous owner it has been in our hands since 1988. Though there is nothing wrong with it, it is nice when you go to an event and five different people there didn't own your car before you did. |

I'm sure everyone would like to pay less, but if someone has the money, the opportunity to purchase a -6 doesn't come up often and it shows in what they are worth now when restored. The rising prices of all 914s I fear is eventually going to price me out of the market when I have the funds to make a purchase. It's awesome for everyone that already has one though. Congrats on your purchase, it sounds like you got a nice project! |
