So my ranger bench 60-40 seat is torn to s#it on the drivers side

I tried going the stock replacement route but could only find
Extended cab seats on Craig's list
And from what I understand regularly cab seats and bracket s
Are different from extended cab seats and bracket s

Can anyone with ranger experience confirm this ????

So I think I'm just gonna go with a procar seat aka scat for about
200$ and use their Ford ranger bracket which is supposed to
Bolt right in and seat right in to bracket
I'm 6-2 so seat will always be in the all the way back position
And something that sits lower then stock would be good
I m assumeing seat belts will be retained and not sure about
Airbag or seatbelt wire that plugs into bottom of stock seat .

Am I going the right direction here or is there a better way .

I thought about the whole 're upholstered route but not sure what that cost .

Advice please. ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

If the Ranger is like any other truck, the floor mounts are the same, so the buckets n brackets from the same era should bolt in. A Ranger forum would tell you for sure.

$200 should get you most of the bench recovered. Shop around a little.

I didn't start the post, which should have been in the sandbox for being off topic.

914 content--- My Nissan truck's bench and buckets are bolt in swaps. My truck brought home from the wrecker the Nissan engine in my 914, plus towed it a few times, and a few others, and parts. Thus this thread is six degrees of Kevin Bacon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

thelogo- I didn't get too far into it but it looks like you have a few options. It might surprise folks where the OEMs decide to cut engineering costs.
