any ideas?

passenger side came right out.
driver side doesn't seem to move at all.

I'm using a 3lb hammer and a 36mm 1/2 drive socket with 8" extension.

I have a 5 lb hammer, but no room to swing it under the car.

you could try warming the trailing arm/housing up with a blow troch or a heat gun?

I beat mine out using an old front shock :-)
