Saw this on Ebay....supposedly a car with 17,000 original miles on it. So why's he running carbs? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif) I might just have to go by and see this one, it's on my way to work.

Because it's desmogged, and 30 years old.
Not using injection doesn't make the injection new, and way back when, we were all told carbs were the ticket, there used to be multiple ads in normal mags, like R&T for 914 carb kits.. Performance 'upgrade'. Look at all the vanitys.. I see euro signal lenses, and is that a wooden wheel? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) It probably has rolled the odometer... probably. M |
