Ok Guys. I have decided to sell my uncles 74 914. Question is how much more would it be worth if I replaced the rear trunk floor. Would it add that much extra value or should I leave it as is for next owner to deal with. This is the only bad rust on the car all other trouble spots are clean and solid. thanks for your help.

a proper repair is going to cost more than you will gain by doing it. A cover up will turn prospective buyers off for god. If you want to try for a couple extra bucks, cut it all out and get it prepped for a new panel. I for one would rather see it all cut out and cleaned ready for repair, than the swiss cheese it currently is. Otherwise leave it be and take what you can get.

Any idea on the negative effect it should have on price? Just curious. |

That is all depending on the shops rate, how perfect you want it done, and what may lie under the known issue. I would suspect someone looking to do it themselves might want to knock 500.00 +or- off |
