Silver car resprayed red? Definitely look for signs of paint covering up possible issues.
I'm betting the rust on the jackpoint 'cover', a similar amount of rust on the longs behind it. It could be minor but warrants removing the jack cover, or at least cutting the bottom half off to see what's behind there. Make an offer with that work in mind. Also look hard for rust -in the hell hole (under battery) -floor pan, especially behind the seats -the longs inside the car -suspension ears -trunks -around windshield -trunks -ah hell, the whole damn car. Need to see some good pics of the battery tray, the area under it up to the firewall, and underside engine area and rear of the floor plans. It's worth it to take a good long look. |
