I found a #4 screw plugging a small hole in my gas tank. Can JB Weld be used to fill the hole ?

Aha yes; the hole and the screw. A hole was being drilled in the passenger firewall to accomdate a zip tie; the kind that is held in place with a ssms. Drill bit went through the firewall and the tank. Pulled the tank, plugged the hole with a sms.
