I am getting ready to install my axles and I am wondering if I should lube the splines of the stub axle before I insert them into the hubs?

I am getting ready to install my axles and I am wondering if I should lube the splines of the stub axle before I insert them into the hubs? If it's ever supposed to come apart.. it gets anti-seize/grease. If it's dangerous if it comes off... it get's threadlocker. I say put some grease, or anti-seize on them. The mechanic who has to deal with it later will thank you. |
