Wide open market,each vendor cites the advantage of their stuff,that makes a difference and allows you to cherrypick.
I'm sure some of this wonder compound cannot be used under A1 skins,but internal spaces can be done,to inhibit FeO.
A few of these product can be used under the shiny topskins of the 914,the purest,most finely divided in a 40um application thickness.
The underlying steel substrate's roughness is what gives the epoxy (or other) primer its tooth to provide a sandable datum.
Query the vendors,give it a whirl and discover you can run your 914 in the saltysnow environs of the Gatineau Hills.
