Can anyone tell me the sale price of this GT factory built car in 2008

What would the likely sales price of this car be in the present marketplace?

How many factory built GT cars presently remain in the states?

2008 Ebay listing LINK: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act...t&id=159522

Where did the information come from that says that 1571 was not a factory GT? I knew the first private owner (Charley Grimes) when he bought the car in 1972, and remember him bringing the car back to Tulsa. (made it as far as El Paso before it broke a rocker arm and had to be trailered the rest of the way). He had said it was a factory built car at that time. It was then sold or passed on to its second owner and it sat in his service showroom in Tulsa until 2003 or so.

There was an earlier thread about this car when it was listed for $375K, and ericreed had posted the ebay description which detailed the build history, saying it was special project 42 from the factory. Of course, ebay descriptions may be faked, but at that price you would think the seller would have documentation to back it up. Was it later proven to be incorrect?

Kardex information shows that the car left the factory without the GT options.
It was imported to Portugal and went to Bozzani dealership but it is unclear where the conversion took place. I now question whether the invoice was real.
It is still one of the most pristine examples around just not factory built.
