I purchased a carpet kit for the front trunk 2 pieces .
I need to now cut my wood .I can make a template but my question is : does the carpet wrap around the edge or is it cut the same size as the board . Also I see a "tail" is often left longer than the board so that the carpet can wrap up the backside any insight maybe a photo of the underside of a correct one would really help . Or a link ... I have studied the " front trunk " thread in originality on this forum, but still cant quite make out the needed info Tnks |

thanks ... you explained it perfectly ... Huge help (yes ... lesson learnt , this may have been a good time to just "buy it ") Here’s the shape you need (drawn around a stock original trunk carpet on new perlon) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i265.photobucket.com-18255-1452626796.1.jpg) Here’s how it’s wrapped and stapled on the board. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i265.photobucket.com-18255-1452626796.2.jpg) Real easy job and about £10 GBP or $16 USD for the perlon. |
