I'm getting rid of the stock vinyl covering on the dash face and would like to just do body-color metal. Thought I'd ask what others have done to deviate from stock, so show us your dash faces.

Cool, thanks. Lots of neat variations from stock. I like them! I noticed that all put something over the basic dash frame. I was thinking of just painting the frame body color and not putting anything over it.
Here's a pic of just the frame - the metal cover with vinyl is removed. This would be body color with nothing else added. The other thing I like about this is the face height will be the same across the dash - instead of the radio area being lower. Thoughts?
