Perry has the correct connector. This one single part is expensive, this has nothing to do with Perry, his price is going rate. Once you understand that part his cost is very reasonable. Quality is top notch.
Of course I'm a cheapass, so I made my own connector by using a scrap engine harness connector and then I made pins by scavenging them from old relays and turning them to size on a model lathe. My last conversion I did about the same and didn't use the relay board either however this car ha s a burnt up harness so I may have to make a new one or just buy one done. Perry's harness is just from the main harness to the engine. A fair bit of the main harness is in the engine bay up to the relay board. That is not what Perry sells. What Perry sells (IIRC) is a loom that only replaces the relay board and wiring to the engine. There was a Euro guy who was talking about reproducing the main loom but it was spendy. Jeff Bowlsby likely would know the scoop. |
