I asked the wrong question before....
What tool holds the crank pulley from moving while I loosen the pulley bolt? Thanks, Bill P. Attached image(s)

there's a special wrench that you use, it goes on the top fan-part of the alternator. it's like a C-Shaped opening with two pins that fit into the holes on the front. you then take the alternator bolt off with the shims behind it. Replace the belt, and install the new one.
