I got a set of 7 & 8s the other day that had a gold finish. That finish wasn't going to work for me. Since I'm outa work, I can't afford a pro to do them and since I have time on my hands, I gave it a shot. They could be better and now that I've done one set, another set would be easier.

There is a method you could try with less precision taping.
Make sure you have a perfectly level surface. You can tape off the holes in the wheels with tape from the back side, and pour in the rustolium satin black into the wheel. Pour in enough until it is at the perfect level. Then cut the tape to let the black drain out into a bucket.
