Hi,
Can the pushrod tubes and oils seals be replaced from underneath with the engine still in the car? It looks like if I took off the exhaust I might have enough room? Thanks all. Steve |

No, I don't think so. You have to lower the engine.
Why do you want to take the pushrods out? |

No, I don't think so. You have to lower the engine. Why do you want to take the pushrods out? I'm getting a lot of oil leaking by. The car hadn't been started in 33 year but its running now and what was a small leak seems to have gotten much worse. Its dripping onto the exhaust to the point where its starting to smoke. I think some is also from the valve cover but it appears to be really bad at the end of the push rods. So can i just replace the seals? Thank again. |
