Early 912 trans has AHQX... the A mainshaft wouldn't help at all. H typically gets used as 5th in v8 conversions. (I have an H gear and everything else from 914 and 912 transmissions for sale in the classifieds)
It looks like the real solution is a different R&P (expensive too, and I don't have any). Man, is there anything about these transmissions that isn't expensive? Even saw a shift knob go for $400 on ebay! |
