$134k? Am I reading that right? That is actually damn cheap and a real bargain at that price! I have a few classic Ferrari's (pre 1970) in my collection and the cost of parts is absolutely absurd, the engineering isn't that great either. I've heard of fellow owners paying figures with 7 decimal places for engines. Tuning the carbs isn't so bad when you work methodically. Colombo's only have 3 twins (standard). My Aston has 4 twins, but even that is ok when you've practiced. I also have a Colombo twin cam in one of my other Ferrari's with twin K jetronic (twice a 911 set up) that gives me more headaches than carbs. |
