I noticed that Sir Andy had his 1.8 with a d-jet in the ads.
Is there an advantage over running with the stock L-jet in a '74? I did'nt see anything on this topic in "search". Thanks, rezron |

on the otherhand, even the factory workshop manual describes L-jet as the "more modern FI system". parts are available since everyone has a hard time diagnosing L-jet and are switching to carbs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) . if vacuum leaks are a problem, just fit new hoses! ever try to find a new D-jet Aux Air Regulator? how about the price of a new or rebuilt MPS? L-jet was used on VW buses, even as late as '83 air cooled ones (vanagon). i like the guy who has a 2.0L fitted with L-jet.
