I noticed that Sir Andy had his 1.8 with a d-jet in the ads.
Is there an advantage over running with the stock L-jet in a '74? I did'nt see anything on this topic in "search". Thanks, rezron |

I've done the reverse, i installed an L-let from my old 1.8 onto a slightly higher compression 2.0, ran great with 0 problems (and then I took the car apart and it's never been the same, LOL)
Only the 1.8 914s had the L-jet which would explain the rarity of them....Porsche used the L-jet again on the '76 912E which had a 2.0 /4 motor in it....and after that, variations of the L-jet have been put on thousands and thousands of cars...even my '91 911 has a tweaked/improved version of the original L-Jet |
