I have a 1973 Porsche 914 2.0L (4x130 wheel bolt pattern).
I am thinking I can get a set of wheel adapters to change it to 5 x 130, a set of 5 lug Fuchs Replicas (http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC-C10-6649) - with 5 inches backspacing and 205 width tires. Does anyone with a stock fendered 914 run this combo? Any chance it will work with 205 width tires? Car will see street use - no track or autox at this time, so the adapters should handle the load without issues. Many thanks in advance for the info! |

Those 4-5 lug adapters are crap. For mild street use it might be okay. They still would not fit. The adapters add an inch. So such replica's would not work. You might get later offset 911 wheels to work. Having said all that. If you want to go 5-lug do it right. You can do it reasonable using all your stock 4-lug parts & drilling. |
