Can someone please advise and or confirm an early VW jack will work on 1970-1971 early model car?

What you need to remember, if you don't know already, is that these jacks are very dangerous. They can kick out unexpectedly on uneven ground. I carry a standard scissor Jack and a jack receiver thingy for safety.
