I need to know what the correct height of a 914-6 motor is at the front of the motor as shown in the picture. I think my motor is too high at the front.

I wasn't able to measure mine as the engine lid is in the way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ,how have others done this...Rory how did you do yours?

I removed the engine lid.
It was the only way to duplicate the measurement provided by the OP.
Kind of difficult to keep the tape measure in place and the camera steady at the same time.
I then spent the afternoon getting back to my carburetors after changing
venturies, mains, idles, emulsions and air corrections two weeks before.
Very nice results.

It did take a considerable amount of dexterity and several tries to take that picture.

What did your measurement turn out to be?
