I saw these on patrick motorsports and i was confused do these bolt up to the 914 or do ineed somthing else? also are these just junk? http://www.patrickmotorsports.com/part/rea...4-transmission/

IIRC T1 Beetle CVs work just fine for a 914.

Those aren't junk but you need a fair bit of modification to make them work, and you need to be putting down a fair bit of power to make them worth while.

Yeah i make 260 but i don't want to be afraid of outer cvs bursting all the time
