I saw these on patrick motorsports and i was confused do these bolt up to the 914 or do ineed somthing else? also are these just junk? http://www.patrickmotorsports.com/part/rea...4-transmission/

Also do they work on the outer

IIRC T1 Beetle CVs work just fine for a 914.

Those aren't junk but you need a fair bit of modification to make them work, and you need to be putting down a fair bit of power to make them worth while.

Yes,
Those bolt to the tranny and wheel flange (stock 914) and allow the use of a 930 turbo CV. I bought a pair and use them to modify an Audi output flange to run 930 CV's. Very high quality product.

PMS is a quick bolt in with stock flanges. If your converting to 5 bolt, this thread is what I did.

There is also another thread in that forum using 100mm 944 cv's.

It's all covered in the thread. 108mm trans flanges, 930 swayaway axles, early 70's 911 cv's, stub axles, disks, etc.
