Rebuilt the pedal box PO had done a great job painting all the parts but little else, clutch arm was very worn so I welded a piece of 10mm bolt in there and redrilled the arm...huge improvement.
Gear shifting has been a bitch, gate for gears not right ,spent 10mins and reset as per DR Evils advice now really good, have ordered bronze bush for gearbox so it can only get better. Oil leaks ???? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) ,they seem to be developing everytime I drive it,think I will call the car Exon Valdez,if it didn't run so well I would be really pissed off. Retimed the engine today and got it right on the mark or as close as I can without a tacho that reads right....mines a little unsettled in response, will email Bob from tachadapt and see if he has any idea's. Muddy and dirty by worth a pic or 2. More to follow, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) |
