Tire availability in 16" is limited for all season radials. Your choice is BFG or Kumo. If you go with a summer tire you have a couple more options. In 17" you have many more summer options and a couple more all season options. None of them wear well in 16 or 17" but that's not a huge concern for a limited mile vehicle.
I'm at the same place you are. I have a pair of 16x7 Fuchs. Do I get a pair of 9's for the rear and have limited tire availability or go with a set of 17's which provides more tire options but doesn't look quite as good (IMHO)? |
