Been a while since I updated but have achieved a fair amount in that time.
Received my Boxter wiper motor so I can improve upon the slow wipers I have now,we do have our fair share of rain here even in the summer. Dug out my set of Cibie Oscars so plan to fab some custom brackets and mount those, have decided to do a rally tribute car theme and do a martini racing centre stripe on the car. Removed my seat backpad and repaired some past crap upholstery repairs and fiberglassed the crumbling cardboard added some sound insulation in there too, came out ok and fits a lot better. My fresh air fan has never worked ,last time I had the tank out I tested it and after a clean it worked fine as tested with my spare battery. pulled the control and found the contacts on the lever were cooked,I have no heat but I do need air to defrost so I decided to delete the control completely. |
