Traced the control contacts and used the rear window heater switch I had spare to run the blower on speed #3.
Made a blanking plate up for the dash. The air is now directed permantily to the windscreen and dash pad vents,I blocked off the hot air inlets on the heater valves also. Amount of air is good and will only be better when dash pad vents are closed, fan motor was noisy to start with but is now ok. Switch has back light and I will change it to indicate fan symbol, real happy as it works fine. |
