Ok
I searched the web and the Pelican tip said to place the trans in reverse then slide the coupler on the rod by going from first to reverse. Ok how do you tighten the pinch bolt? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) Brian |

Rotate the shifter base, once unbolted, and rotate 90 degrees horizontally to expose where the rod enters the shifter as well as the pinch bolt. Apologies if I misunderstood the question as you must have done this already if you disconnected it.
