Hey all,
I just purchased a 914-4 2.0 and am looking to slip on new tires. It was running on old Kumo 205/50/15... I'm now looking at the same size in the Toyo Proxy R1R or R888R. I'll drive 95% on the street but some AX. Anyone have pros or cons on the Toyos or suggestions on something else. Any info would be much appreciated... thanks, Mitch |

a 205/60 would be stock diameter, but not too much in the way of sticky tires.
205/50 plenty of sticky tires if you don't mind higher cruising rpms I think both those toyos are near racing slicks? Might be too much for the street. Plus autox used to have a 200 tread wear minimum, worth looking up first. |
