In the theme of go big or go home ..
Is an LS6 TOO much motor (torque) for a daily driven 914? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Would a 901 be a complete waste of time? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

If you couple the Audi 6 speed to it along with larger CV's, chassis stiffening and bigger brakes you'll be OK. The torque is what eats the 901 transmission. If your tarting from scratch I would Goth Audi route. Horse power gets expensive over 250 HP. Chris is correct that the 200 horses is plenty in a 914 but then again; you'll always want more.
