I like using that space. Bye bye ash tray, shave it to a smooth surface rather than make it look like you substituted something. Sort your gauges, most important to the left first. Kinda like what Gary did, but clock first? No. You are way past originality. Lose the stupid clock. Head temp, oil temp, oil pressure matter. You can ask your phone if you need to know what time it is. (No offense intended, just could't not snark on the clock.)
