I don't have a parts book/s to identify a part application, but, I have the number and a description.
A truck load of 914 parts came my way this weekend. It will take a while to sort thru things. One item caught my attention, a muffler, but I don't know the application of engine. 1.7, 1.8, 2.0 ? Banana shaped, reversed stamped VW 039251, Bischoff, 11/7/5 (I think) I am also looking at a stock exhausts for a number. And wondering the same thing on them. Oval shape into the heads but not flat at the rear like my '74 exhausts. These raise maybe 1.5 2.0 inches then straight back at the end. Any tips would be helpful Thank you |
