I'd be hard pressed to turn the key over to stranger on that road. That they were moving at a pretty good clip and the driver has to look at the owner to carry on a conversation, while rowing to find 2nd, would be unnerveing. "DUDE! ROAD!!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
