I'd like to have this tank cleaned up. The last time I took a Spitfire fuel tank to a rad shop and had them put it in their ultrasonic tank, it came out mint. Bare to the bone.
What's the general procedure for a P-car oil tank? |

Unless there was a known problem, I would have carefully blocked off all openings prior to removing the tank from the car, done the outside maintainance and ...let sleeping dogs lie in the tanks interior.
Since it appears that didn't happen, a top notch cleaning of the inside is needed....with a bore scope inspection to follow....a job for a professional, me thinks. I have no idea who I would trust to have this done.....but, I would give Otto's a call for starters. |
