Does anyone know what is causing my 71 turn signal switch to function perfectly on the left turn position - switching action and the release action / verses the right turn indicator which will blink if held near the "on-blinker" position but does not blink if pushed into the "on-blinker" position completely.

Left is good / right is not so good............ And is this condition fixable or is a new/old switch the fix?

It is called old bro. Likely something electrical because I get some wierd electrical issues like the fuel gauge night light not turning on and in this case turn signal lever not blinking. I bought a new turn signal lever and the thing still isnt 100% perfect.

Comes to show how spoiled and reliable cars are today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
