I am going to have to rebuild the shifter on my tranny. All new bushings
What parts will I have to order? 1971 1.7L

Sounds like a crappy first day drive!

Lay down under the back and see if the shifter rod goes all the way to the rear of the tranny, or if it stops midway.
At the rear, tail shifter
Midway, side shifter.
