Curious if anyone has done it, and if not, if there is a reason it can't be done?

There was a recent thread where it was suggested that the painted bumpers were different than the chrome ones, but I suspect the thickness and hardness has a lot to do with the chroming process/layers.

Thoughts?

Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Thanks for the responses, everyone.

Have a possible line on an NOS factory bumper in primer. May just ship it to Ogden Chrome if so—thanks for the recommendation Rob!

Actually Pete, shipping is free to and from Ogden Chrome. You just wrap it, address it, and call them. FedEx then comes and gets it.
